Nazare, 17th February 2020.
An historical day for Foil surfing. A board that reaches really high speeds and that seems to levitate the surface of the water.
The buoys were pointing to the largest swell of the winter hitting the deep canyon and some of the best big wave surfers were in town to catch the biggest waves in the world. Names like Laird Hamilton, Benny Ferris, Terry Chung, Luca Padua, Nuno Santos and Glyn Ovens were there changeling the massive conditions that afternoon. Somehow in the middle of the chaos, they were all ridding first peak, right in front of the cliff and setting the bar for the future of Foil surfing.
