VW T4 camper conversion - How much has it cost so far?

Video by Adventures in my van  - VANLIFE / TRAVEL.

How much has it cost me so far to convert this Volkswagen Transporter to a camper van.

Today I run through some of the work I've done so far and how much I have spent.
It's worth noting that I haven't done all the work as I had the floor installed by a local conversion company. They also carpeted my walls and ceiling. I also had a company fit my windows as the van was originally a panel van.

I did everything else.

So, here is a list of what I bought, along with prices just in case you fancy doing a conversion of your own.

Dodomat sound proofing £49.99 (x2)
3m van carpet with 3 cans of contact adhesive £28.89
Aluminium foil tape £7.99 (x3)
Silent coat sound deadening (20 pack) £39.56
Silent coat sound deadening (40 pack) £74.65 (x2)
Knauf Insulation £39.92
Super foil insulation £30.00

all of the above was purchased through Amazon

Windows (second hand) £180 from Cali Campers
window fitting £120

It cost me around £500 to have the floor fitted and then covered in lino.
I went for Altro flooring is it's really hard wearing.
( I wish I had gone for this in my other T4) They also covered my wall and ceiling panels in light grey carpet.

Storm Ashley has hit the UK

Storm Ashley has hit Salthill during high tide this evening. This is the  Atlantic at its wildest.

The past 24 hours have seen Storm Ashley ravage Ireland with the west coast being hit seriously hard by 'red level' wind gusts and flooding from high tides.

Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly has detailed the wind gusts felt in the last 24 hours with Galway seeing 'red' gusts sweep across the coast.

He said: "The table of storm gust information from Sryan Bruen shows Storm Ashley only reached red level gusts at two stations on the edge of the West coast, a couple in Mayo reached Orange, good few yellow but a number of stations didn’t even reach Yellow."
