Hi, I’m Andi — surfer, filmmaker, and part of a small crew of friends who went all-in for this trip. After months of planning, countless hours on the road, and a fair amount of uncertainty, we finally made it to Africa — not knowing what to expect.
We had a really good time out there — even if it took a lot of effort, endless searching, and plenty of days waiting for the right moment. From surfing a two-minute left-hander completely alone at sunrise, to camping in the cold desert, meeting local fishermen, sharing stories, exploring hidden valleys, and chasing swells along endless sand points — this trip gave us more than we ever expected.

Some days brought amazing waves. Other days brought exhaustion, uncertainty, and the raw reality of being far from everything. That’s the deal when you go somewhere hardly any surfers have been.
In the end, it wasn’t just about the surf. It was about the people, the adventure, and the memories that will stay with us forever.
