My first visit to El Salvador was in 2013, at a time when the country was one of the most dangerous in the world and visiting the country was still relatively risky but where the surfing potential was already well known. 11 years later and a new government with drastic measures in place, but synonymous with safety for residents and tourists, the opportunity to rediscover this beautiful little country resurfaced.
