Supertubos is quite a sight when it's doing its thing; it's also quite a fright when it's thumping, which it was during Round One of the 2017 MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal. The peanut gallery was lively amidst the commotion, as the punishment was being served up all day. Few surfers were spared.
