MYSTERIOUS WAVE IN RUSSIA

What's the craziest mission you've ever done to score waves? We're willing to bet it wouldn't hold a candle to what Cyrus Sutton recently endured.
Cyrus, along with Reef Adventure Seeker Anna Ehrgott and photographer Dylan Gordon went all out to surf an untouched wave located deep in Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula. So deep in fact, that they needed to ride a sketchy ex-soviet helicopter to get there - and that is far from the sketchiest thing on this trip.
Massive bears (bigger than North American Grizzly) roamed the terrain, while shady illegal poachers used the unmanned waters to haul in salmon as part of a black market operation.
They didn't bring any weapons, and the only thing "protecting" them was a bear-proof fence that looked like it would struggle to keep out a domesticated house pet, let alone giant hungry bears.
"We were told not to bring guns. Guns only made these bears more angry," Cyrus said.
Was it all worth it? Watch the clip above to find out.
