Kelly Slater's latest focus isn't winning another surfing championship, the famed surfer has spent the last couple of years building a new menswear company with the aim to improve supply chain conditions and create great looking, sustainable products. The end result is Outerknown, a clean-cut line of stylish menswear pieces that brings together a taste for fashion, travel, and of course, surf.

One of the key features in the line is their use of Econyl, a nylon yarn that is created from pre and post-consumer waste. The material is at the core of their Evolution Series collection which includes tailored bombers, insulated jackets, and board shorts. Some of other favorites include a beautiful top coat called the "Crossing Coat" which is made from regenerated wool and their "Jetlag" crew neck sweaters made from baby alpaca and organic cotton.
