Nazare Wipeout

The footage shows Portuguese Big Wave Surfer, João Guedes paddling into a big one during last Tuesday's (October 16) session in Praia do Norte, Nazaré, during what was the first solid swell of the season. The wave was sort of bumpy and Guedes wipes out taking a direct hit by the white wash wall, the video shows part of the rescue that followed with Guedes being pushed back by the second wave, luckily not bigger than the first one.
João Guedes 32 years old, is one of Portugal’s most experienced Big Wave Surfers, he is currently a wildcard for the WSL’s Nazaré Challenge, a contest part of the Big Wave Tour that will take place in Praia do Norte in the next few months during the winter season.

RIDERS OF THE ATLANTIC STORM - 18/01/2018

RIDERS OF THE ATLANTIC STORM - 18/01/2018 from Praia do Norte on Vimeo.

Riders Of the Atlantic Storm

Filmagem: Humberto Santos
